MikTeX to be retired
Please upgrade to TeX Live, at least if you want to continue using the university TeX installation after August 1 2009.
RuG TeX installation
The RuG UWP has TeX installations available both for staff and for students. The 2008 installations also include a cd image for local installation. Staff members can ask their helpdesk for access.
Bitmap to eps
For graphics inclusion, the TeX Live installation already has a GUI utility to convert between eps and pdf. See the Tips and Tricks page for a way to convert bitmaps to eps with our installation.

TeX Live 2008
MikTeX 2.5 has been replaced with TeX Live 2008. MikTeX will still be available for several months.
House style
For staff members, there are LaTeX classfiles for house style letters and presentations; see the house style page.
